Bitcoin solves the issue of debasement of currency and is not affected by inflation. Bitcoin simply can not be replicated, there can not be a fake bitcoin. Moreover, it is decentralized. If your government prints the currency then the value of the currency that you hold reduces. This doesn't happen with bitcoin. I am a Computer Science Engineer btw.

What is cleared today is bitcoin is purely fictitious with no man and morter existence and backing. It just a result of a mathematical solutions with finite number of outcome. Tough it claims it is decentralised but it is mild controlled by its designers who designe the mathematical problems and rules to be followed to get the solutions. If somebody buy all 21 million number he will be owner of 21 million solutions of a mathematical problem. If others are willing to buy this solutions than it has value other wise not. However the designers can cha the rules of the game to make another 21 million number and the show will go on. The cross border transaction fees can be minimised by the regulatory bodies it is not a bit coin issue. Block chain is the technology which we should implement in every nation's financial system. In physical cash every currency has an identification number however in banking channel it doesn't have, if we implement block chain in banking for every rupee will be able to track from where it moving at a glance from someone's account we will be able to track principal source flow patterns with will be helpful to detect money laundering and terror funding.
